I love second shooting!  I feel it is less stressful being a second shooter and your somewhat always in the background which allows you to get different shots, a different perspective.  Brittany of Brittany Claud Photography was one of my first photographer friends here in Richmond VA and we just hit it off! I was beyond excited when she asked me to second shoot for her, not to mention we got to travel to Ohio! It was such a fun weekend and such a great experience to see how another photographer works and handles their Weddings.   I definitely learned a lot from Brittany, she is so great at posing, calm and collective under pressure, but I did have to tease her about how often she uses the word Y’all (this northern girl will get there eventually!).  Justine and Michael were the perfect couple to photograph, they were so into taking photos and had all these amazing ideas (a photographers dream!)  Their Wedding Party were all such a close knit group of friends and it was really was such a perfect day filled with love and fun!

Justine & Michael didn’t want to do a first look, but wanted to be able to talk to one another before making it “official.” This corner of the church was the perfect spot, Justine was emotional and Michael just kept making her laugh, it was so adorable!
