I remember the day Bianca told me I would be her photographer, we were both working our part time job at Kate Spade and have come to know each other over the years. She followed through with her promise and on October 1st, in the midst of a hurricane, she had the most beautiful wedding at Tuckahoe Plantation. Bianca and Joey were my first (and only) clients that chose to have everything completely outdoors, there would be no tent. This was quite a gamble, especially since hurricane Matthew was gaining strength the week prior, but luckily its track has shifted and Richmond was spared from the worst of it, but the night before it poured. I was so happy everything turned out perfect for them and on this unseasonably warm fall day, they finally got to say “I do!”
Bianca and Joey had met a long time ago at her maid of honor Allison’s house, but didn’t start chatting until 4 years later on Facebook and then reconnecting at Church. They chose not to do a first look on their wedding day, instead wrote letters to one another and its adorable how they both referenced their first date. They went mini golfing, Joey picked her up in his jeep with the doors off, turned up an Usher song and they both started belting it out. They were both comfortable with each other right off the bat and the rest as they say, is history.
Bianca was stunning in her Franssical gown, it was the first one she had tried on at Ava Laurenne Bride and of course, I knew her shoes were going to be amazing and they were. Jimmy Choo‘s will never disappoint. Joey and Bianca are fellow dog lovers and I was so ecstatic their pups were included in the wedding day, they were such good sports and nearly stole the show with their cute outfits.
All the decor and details were perfection, Maggie’s Misc did an excellent job bringing their colors of navy, pink, and purple to life! The finishing touch, as the sun went down was certainly the canopy of bistro lights strung about the trees above the reception space, just gorgeous! I absolutely love and am a huge advocate for having live bands at your wedding and the Silver Bullets had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. This was certainly a night to remember and I hope you enjoy looking at the images and relieving that day as much as I do. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Aronson!
