Libby’s Bridal Portraits took place were she was getting married, at the Historic Bolling Haxall House which is the finest example of an Italian Villa style here in the heart of Richmond. There are so many rooms to photograph in, which was great because it was pouring this day, but we still managed to sneak out into the garden at the end of the shoot. Libby is absolutely GORGEOUS and yes … Zoey Deschanel is her doppelgänger, she gets that ALL the time 😉 Her Maggie Sottero dress from Urban Set Bride was stunning, which complimented her mothers’ lace veil perfectly. Blackbird Salon was on point with the hair and of course, the makeup by Nicole Laughlin was flawless. Libby is beautiful inside and out and I am so fortunate I not only got to shoot her wedding (which I’ll be sharing soon!) but also these bridal portraits. This mirror was HUGE!! It was so fun playing with angles and I love how you can see the back of her dress!
Libby has the best ‘serious’ look, I just love those ones as much as her smiling!
This staircase is amazing!
Her mothers viel is breathtaking, so special that Libby wore it on her wedding day.
It was still raining, so we kept her covered, but I love the color and look of these columns!
Ahhh, probably my favorite!! 
This little hidden garden is such a gem!
