Melissa Desjardins, a Nashua resident born and raised, started dabbling in photography while attending Nashua High School. She had taken a photography class and it was this class that ignited her passion for photography. Fast forward years later, she made the decision to pursue photography as a career and attend the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turner Falls, MA. In 2007, Melissa graduated from the Photography Institute and was now on her way to the creation of Desjar Photography with her brother, Joe Desjardins.

Joe’s passion was always sales and marketing. With a degree from Southern New Hampshire University, Joe came up with the idea to put the two of their talents together to form Desjar Photography. He recognized his sisters talents and was confident in his abilities to turn those talents into a business.
