It’s all in the details! At least that’s what they say, but it is SO true, especially in the Wedding industry.  Photographing details on a wedding day is one of my favorite parts of the day.  Not only because I get to photograph gorgeous rings, dresses, jewelry, veils, shoes (oh the shoes!) flowers, invitations, but I get to really be creative in how I arrange them.  Sometimes it’s a challenge, especially when you don’t have an ideal surface, lighting conditions, or even enough room.  You really don’t know what to expect and I love putting all the pieces together, that fit perfectly like a puzzle, thus creating gorgeous images!  Sometimes its just a simple moment or delicate detail captured, like a groom putting on his cufflinks, a bridesmaid’s dress blowing in the wind, or a mother carefully buttoning her daughters wedding dress.

Not to be forgotten, are the details of the ceremony space and especially the reception which are usually brilliantly put together by planners, florists, and the local staff.  I am constantly blown away when I get to run into a reception to photograph it before anyone enters and its so gorgeous, perfectly fitting for the bride and groom that I have come to know so well.
