I am so excited to finally share the images from our warm and cozy flannel wedding inspired shoot which took place at Fairview Farm. Smitten Magazine just shared the shoot and you can view it HERE! This is perfect timing since the holidays are upon us and this is when brides to be are planning their winter wedding wonderland for next year! You can find plenty of inspiration here, especially in the details! Here is what the Kim + Mary Ruth of Kim Moody Design, the brains behind the shoot, had to say about her vision:
- We wanted to incorporate a masculine vibe on a traditional wedding styled shoot while showcasing our southern roots!
- The inspiration behind the shoot were the two bronze deer sculptures that are decor from the barn at Fairview. When we were working a wedding there one night we decided they would be perfect for a styled shoot with a flannel vibe. We played off of the antler theme with the custom embroidered tie, custom pocket squares, bouquet wrap, and cake.
- We wanted to show our clients there are other ways to envision wedding decor that has a rustic vibe without using burlap and mason jars. 😉
- When we were choosing colors we wanted to have something that would “pop” on the beautiful landscape and barn boards and we were so pleased with the results!
- We hope that the outdoor lighting inspires our clients to allow us to create vignettes for their guests to enjoy outside of the main reception space.
I cannot thank all the super talented vendors that made this happen and a huge thank you to the models! Happy Holidays!
