Welcome to the NEW and hugely improved Melissa Desjardins Photography (formally Desjar Photography)!  This new branding is long overdue and I am completely in awe at how it turned out, thanks to the incredibly talented Katie Durski of KD Creative.  I will definitely be posting more about the whole experience and process in the days to come, so be sure to check back! But for now, its GIVEAWAY time to celebrate the debut of this fun, edgy, colorful, stylish shinny new site! This new branding now not only exemplifies who I am as a person and a photographer, but celebrates my kickass couples!

So whats in the giveaway?!

1. A Voluspa Amaranth & Jasmine candle from Anthropologie. I chose this because it smells AMAZING, its pink, and it has flowers on it.  As you may have noticed, the main color in my site is pink, my favorite color.  And my last name Desjardins means “of the garden” in french, which is one of the fun facts listed in the meet melissa section of the new site.2.  A Soap Rocks Diamond, Garden of Eden scent from Anthropology. I love these and they smell so good! The geometric shape illustrates a lot of what is going on in my site, which are some of my favorite features!3.  My love for vintage cameras is evident with my 60+ cameras in my collection, which are all displayed in my home.  I thought this notebook from Mongrel in RVA was just perfect!4. YOU ROCK quotable magnet because well … you do! Especially if you are checking out my site, showing some love, and entering the giveaway! 5. My favorite brand of nail polish and of course, in my favorite color.  This color is called haute in the heat ohh la la!

6.  This is a FUN one because we are all ready for SUMMER and that means spending time at the river and you will be styling with this donut float.  For those of you who don’t know me yet, I am obsessed with donuts … and this one is pink!
