Kirsten and I met at photography school at Hallmark Institute of Photography back in 2006 and we have been best friends ever since!  She lives in Asheville, NC and I absolutely love it there, so much in fact that I actually moved there for a year in 2008.  We always make sure to visit one another at least once a year and it just so happens I’ve been able to visit both times she’s been pregnant, first with Lincoln and now with baby Ella.  Of course we had the perfect backdrop, the Blue Ridge Mountains which are breathtaking, if you haven’t visited, you need to! Kirst is such a gorgeous moma to be and even though it was pouring rain on this day, every time there was a break in the sky, we ran out and she rocked it like a professional model! I am so thankful I have got to document, not one, but two pregnancies of one of my very best friends.  I can only hope to be as gorgeous and glowing as her when I have babies some day! Not to mention, she is one amazing mother and I’ve got to witness her and her husband Andrew raise Lincoln into the most pleasant, polite, and intelligent little boy!  He is going to be a wonderful big brother and I can’t wait to meet Ella Pearl in April!
