Lavender Fairview Farm Wedding | Richmond VA Wedding

Mandy + Greg are high school sweethearts and recently tied the knot with a gorgeous lavender + sage wedding at Fairview Farm. I remember chatting during their engagement session nearly a year ago, they were so excited that they would finally be all living together under one roof. Greg was one grade above Mandy, so when they both attended UVA, he graduated a year before her and moved to Oklahoma for grad school. As her father stated in his speech during the reception, they always survived all the trials and tribulations of a long distance relationship and were always stronger because of it. Now they are both living happily in OK together with their dog Teddy (and they just added new pup to the family!) but came back to VA for their wedding, the state where they first fell in love.

They really are such a sweet couple and once I got to meet all their friends and family on their big day, there was no surprise why. I had a great time documenting the celebration, on a day that called for rain, but turned out to be a perfectly overcast. I couldn’t have asked for a more smooth, laid back day, filled with lots of love. Mandy and Greg, you two are so adorable, getting to know you both and be with you on your big day was truly such a delight!
