This trip to visit friends and family in my hometown of Nashua, NH was extra special this time around because my brother Joey is having a baby!!! He’s “technically” not, but his beautiful girlfriend Azarialis is 😉 I had the honor of taking their maternity photos and we even had a special guest, their super adorable (but hyper) olde english bulldog Milo.  They know they are having a baby boy so we made sure big brother Milo was sporting a blue tie around his neck.  This was my first time meeting Izzy (thats her nickname!) and then she was thrown right in front of the camera, but handled it like a champ! It was hot, I was making her do some crazy things, like hike down and sit on rocks, then climb on rocks, but she handled it all with such ease, while looking STUNNING in every single picture!

Most people don’t know this but it is because of my brother that I opened up my own photography business, in fact we were partners and opened our own studio right in downtown Nashua.  I ended up packing up and moving here to Richmond for love (my brother wasn’t too thrilled about the idea) but he was supportive because he knew I had to do it.  I’m always one of those people that would “what if” myself to death and always wonder if I didn’t just do it and I am a firm believer that everything does happen for a reason.  I am extremely happy here in Richmond and could not be happier for this new chapter in my brothers life.

This is the FIRST grandchild for my parents, a first baby for my brother, and I will be a first time auntie! I do wish I lived closer, but I’ve already established I will be documenting every moment when I am there and spoiling him rotten! I cannot wait until he is born at the end of the month … and to find out his name 😉
