Marika & Cam now live in Chicago, but met in New England through mutual friends, so it was only natural that they would get married where it all started, plus you can’t beat the east coast and the ocean view.  They chose the perfect venue, The House of the Seven Gables in downtown Salem MA and the Labor Day weekend could not have been more perfect.  I loved spending time with the girls, getting to know everyone, learning how Marika and Cam first met, listening to them reminisce and laugh about the old times.  They all had been friends for such a long time and all came together for this very special day, which makes me even more thankful to have been able to capture these moments.  Marika was simply glowing and could not have picked a more perfect wedding dress and Cam looked dashing in his suit and bow tie.  I am obsessed with the hues of purple and nautical theme that was happening here.  Everything came together so beautifully and everyone had such a good time, I know that for sure.

As a bridesmaids gift, Marika gave everyone a pair of ray bans, so of course we had to show them off!

Marika and Cam’s dog Bear was stuck outside, but was sure to look through the windows and not miss out on anything.  I love that he’s peering his head right around her Wedding dress and it even looks like he’s sticking his tongue out!

There were lots of tears shed.  These girls are such great friends, it was amazing to watch.
