When we were discussing our plans for their engagement session, Taylor told me that one of their favorite places to eat is Proper Pie in Church Hill and instantly I was super excited.  Proper Pie is not only adorable, but delicious and Church Hill is my neighborhood! If you haven’t visited them yet, you need to, not only do they have the New Zealand-style savory pies, but they also have sweet pies too.  I asked the employees which of the sweet pies they recommend (especially for placing a diamond ring on) and they instantly said the Key lime pie.  We grabbed a slice of that, a savory pie, two waters, and crossed our fingers it wouldn’t get super busy (this place is always busy!)

After our fun there, we drove 5 minutes away to Libby Hill Park, arguably the most iconic view in Richmond and a favorite spot for photographers, of course.  After an outfit change, they had fun walking along the cobblestones, enjoying that Richmond view and sharing a bunch of laughs together.  Taylor + Philip were such a joy to work with, they had such natural chemistry, are so sweet, and I’m beyond excited for their September Wedding at Quirk!
